Transit In America

Who
we are

All aboard for a sustainable future! This website is your express route to understanding why railed transit is the true locomotive of change—offering a greener, more efficient alternative to urban congestion and pollution than electric vehicles ever could. So take a seat, mind the gap, and let’s explore how rail transit can keep our cities on track toward a cleaner future.

Why Not Electric?

While Electric cars provide an almost carbon-neutral alternative to transit, they still fall short in three core categories

Sustainability: Electric Cars are built with highly volatile and limited resources such as cobalt and lithium. Railed transit can also produce far fewer CO2 emissions per mile.

Affordability: Electric cars come with a hefty price tag that far outpaces its gas-powered alternatives, while public transit passes cost only a few dollars.

Traffic management: EVs do nothing to stave mass congestion and traffic, even though EVs have no engine to idle, their presence on the road perpetuates the effects that lead to traffic.

Is Personal Transit Really That Bad?

This website is by no means claiming that all cars should be replaced by PT. In a lot of cases, public transit would simply fail to meet the needs of the people it’s meant to support. Cars are without a doubt needed in our current society, both as a way to travel and as a way to support one’s self. EVs are also a crucial next step in our planet-saving gambit, and this website isn’t meant to discourage the purchase or use of Electric cars, but instead an attempt to give a sustainable alternative that would be able to reach and impact a wider market.

This website aims only to focus on encouraging the development of more Railed Transit options in urban areas around America.
